Fuel Tax Computation

You can forward your driver sheets to us. We will computerize the mileage and fuel for you. We will file all state returns on your behalf. We can also supply printouts per tractor for you. This allows you to realize the fuel tax costs per unit and charge back to the tractor owner if desired. We will also supply an m.p.g. report to you after each computation. You may choose to forward information to us monthly. This will allow you to inform drivers that their mileage is inaccurate or fuel receipts are missing, before the last minute panic to file on time. We need a limited power of attorney for this service.

All fees are based on record keeping and the number of trucks computed each month. Safety Support Services can also compute your Daily Mileage Sheets & fuel receipts, Total Miles & Gallons by state by quarter, Total Miles by state and fuel receipts, From & To records requiring PC Miler printouts, Fuel receipts

48 State Permitting

We will obtain permits for you. They will be mailed directly to you from the appropriate state(s). We need a limited power of attorney for this service.

Temporary Permits

We will obtain temporary permits for you and have them faxed to your office. You can forward these to your driver at any truck stop. We will supply a form that itemizes the information necessary to obtain the permit. You can call us with the information or fax it to our office.

FHWA Operating Authority

We will apply for new FHWA Operating Authority on your behalf. We will be your registered agent. We also obtain the BOC-3 for you. All you have to provide is the insurance.

Illinois Intra-State Operating Authority

We will apply for new Illinois Intra-State operating Authority on your behalf.
